Korea Duty Free Sales vs. Hainan Duty Free Sales
Hainan duty free sales experienced a strong increase in February mainly due to Lunar New Year, whilst the Korean duty-free sales in February decreased by 43% versus January. The decrease is mainly affected by the new regulations issued by the Korea Customs Service that came into effect on February 1st, that bulk transportation of duty-free goods is to be reinstated to pre-pandemic standards.
